EJF Spotlight: Holly Wonneberger
Holly spent her summer working in Brooklyn, NY for the Center for Popular Democracy, a national organization with many successful public interest lawyers. Her work focused on a campaign to keep charter schools accountable. Holly also worked on other areas of public interest, such as immigrants' and workers' rights and community police oversight.

"I learned so much from my experience there, from polishing my legal
research and writing skills, deciding the legal feasibility of policy
proposals, sitting in on meetings, and even protesting at the Federal Reserve
on Wall Street. CPD was a very exciting place to work, and I am so grateful I
was able to accept this opportunity with the help of EJF." |
