Hali Kerr, a 2L at GULC, spent the summer after her 1L year working at the Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division (ENRD), Environmental Defense Section. The majority of Hali’s projects involved litigation brought against federal agencies under the Clean Water Act; the Clean Air Act; and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act. Hali’s involvement with ENRD didn’t end at the office. While her summer was filled with significant legal matters, she still found time to decompress and join in on ENRD’s softball games.

“It was a really fantastic summer because I had the chance to work on real substantive issues with the nation's largest environmental law "firm" that just happens to represent the U.S.A. That was priceless. Thanks so much to EJF for making it possible!” |
